Following the official announcement of Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition, the developers presented screenshots comparing models from the original game and the remaster. They were shared by Tantalus Media on the franchise’s Twitter account.
The updated version will support 4K resolution, redesigned models, and improved interface, soundtrack, and sound. In addition, the reissue will include two new modes and additional civilizations.
The screenshots below show how much the original models have been redesigned compared to the 2005 version. With the growth of image quality, the requirements for hardware have also increased: for a comfortable game, you will need a GeForce GTX 980 video card. The updated version of the game will go on sale on October 15, 2020 for PC.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood received a cinematic trailer
Cyanide Studios has unveiled the official cinematic trailer for the role playing action movie Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. The presentation was held as part of gamescom 2020.
Werewolf is set in the “World of darkness”, where the events of the Vampire franchise also take place: The Masquerade. The video shows the main character-a werewolf and his special abilities that allow him to turn into a ferocious beast.
The developers promise a unique mix of battles and adventures full of mystical events. In the role of Cahal, a powerful Garu, players will have to save Gaia, Mother Earth, and not lose control of their own rage — in the past, this has already led to a disaster, because of which Cahal went into voluntary exile from the clan.
Werewolf Output: The Apocalypse — Earthblood is scheduled for February 2021. The announced platforms include PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. The game will be an exclusive of the Epic Games Store.
The authors of Observer: System Redux have announced a PC release and released a demo version of the game
Observer: System Redux will be released on PC at the same time as the console versions. This was announced by the developers during the presentation of gamescom 2020. The game page and its demo version appeared on Steam.
The remaster will get improved graphics, as well as new story content and expanded gameplay mechanics. What exactly is meant by the latter is unknown. The original game was a first-person horror in the cyberpunk setting, in which the main character played by Rutger Hauer hacked the minds of suspects.
The Observer remaster was announced in April. Initially, the game was supposed to be released only on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The re-release is scheduled for the end of 2020.
